Why Give to the Idaho Falls Symphony Endowment?
TRADITION
Become a member of our philanthropic family and keep the music alive.
As a donor you provide the means for us to continue building a rich arts
community.
PRESERVATION
Even sold out performances cover less than half our costs.
In this uncertain economic climate, America’s performing arts
organizations are struggling
for their existence. Accordingly, Idaho Falls artistic institutions must
act boldly. All gifts to the
Idaho Falls Symphony Society Endowment provide us with the means to
secure our future.
Your support of the Idaho Falls Symphony Society Endowment ensures that
we will continue
as the leading regional symphonic organization. Your support also
nurtures young talent and
instrumentalists, and showcases nationally recognized guest artists.
EDUCATION
Music can give you your dreams.
Drawing children into the world of music and helping them see the impact
it can have
on their lives are the goals of our educational outreach programs.
Education in the arts is
a powerful contributor to the development of a young person’s critical
thinking, problem
solving skills, and desire to stay in school.
Your support provides the means to reach new audiences of public school
children
throughout southeastern Idaho.
GIFTS
Your gift to the Idaho Falls Symphony Society Endowment will be matched
dollar for
dollar until June 30, 2006, by an anonymous donor. Thus far, we have
matched $40,000 in gifts
to bring our endowment funds up to a total of $80,000. Our goal this
season is to reach an
endowment total of $200,000. The matching funds will cease on June 30,
2006.
Cash donations are 100% deductible with the IRS.
Securities such as stocks, mutual funds, and bonds are welcome and may
provide you with
a considerable savings in capital-gains taxes.
Matching gifts can be doubled, or more, if you work for a company that
offers a matching
gift program. ENDOWMENT OFFICERS
