The theme for our new season is “Feel the Connection,” as every concert builds bridges in the community through the power of orchestral music. Listeners and musicians share thrilling experiences in the concert hall, and nothing can replace the bonds that link us after each concert.

Throughout the summer, the Symphony will promote season ticket sales and perform small outdoor concerts in Driggs, Idaho, on a free concert series presented by Downtown Driggs Community Association. The busy summertime will culminate in the free “Symphony in the Park” concert on Saturday, September 9th, at 5:30pm in Idaho Falls’ Freeman Park. Featured on the program will be Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream, accompanied by Paul Menser reading the words of Shakespeare, plus family friendly music for the whole community. Arrive early for Prelude performances by student musicians, and stay afterwards for delicious cookies -- our treat!

2018-2019 Season Subscriptions
On Sale Now!

Visit us at the office or call 208-529-1080!

New Subscribers:

Did you love what you heard at the John Williams Spectacular or Family Concert? Want to be sure that you don't miss out on any of our concerts next season? Want to be sure you always have the same seat and don't get left out when we sell out? Purchase a season subscription and you will get the same seat at all six of our major concerts!

Renewing Subscribers:

Are you concerned about getting the same seats in the newly remodeled Civic Center for the Performing Arts? While the Idaho Falls Symphony cannot guarantee that your seat will be in exactly the same spot or that it will be numbered the exact same way, we will fulfill subscriptions in the order that we receive them. Therefore, if you renew in March you will most likely get the seats you want. If the remodel of the auditorium ends up eliminating seats, and everyone else in your row renews in March but you wait until August, we may have to relocate you.

If you don't care about your seats being moved, please let us know, as it will make things much easier on our staff when we assign seats!

Notes About 2018-2019 Seating In Response to the Civic Center for the Arts Remodel:

The Idaho Falls Symphony cannot guarantee that seats will be identical, as all of the seats currently in the auditorium will be removed and replaced over the summer. Our staff will do everything we reasonably can to keep your seats in a similar location, however, current information suggests that there may be fewer seats in some rows. We will not know the status of seating until an official seating chart is developed and released by the Civic Center for the Performing Arts. Once we receive the official seating chart, we will begin updating our ticketing system and assign seats on a first come-first served basis.

Information on the 2018-2019 season will be released shortly!

Bolero

The theme for our new season is “Feel the Connection,” as every concert builds bridges in the community through the power of orchestral music. Listeners and musicians share thrilling experiences in the concert hall, and nothing can replace the bonds that link us after each concert.

Our Season Finale will be a concert like never before: “Double Orchestra: Bolero!” brings together the Idaho Falls Symphony and the Idaho State Civic Symphony on the same concert. We will combine forces into an oversized, double orchestra, with players from both orchestras sitting together and playing great music as a single entity. The concert will be presented in Pocatello on Friday night and in Idaho Falls on Saturday night, with a program of great masterworks that includes Ravel’s Bolero and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture!

THANKS TO OUR GENEROUS CONCERT SPONSORS: Miles Willard Technologies, Keith & Edwin Skilling, Steve & Jackie Larsen, and Bingham Memorial Hospital.

BATON SPONSOR: Premiere Eye Care, Dr. Matt Traynor
